How to control the mind with sound current and mantra

Mantra is conscious method of controlling + directing the mind.

Happiness, sorrow, joy, anger, regret, they are all vibration frequencies of the mind. Call them attitude or beliefs but they are all frequency or thought waves. They determine what kind of program our mind plays.

Any thought form is a vibration wave into your life.. We are creating with every word we speak. When we chant a mantra we are choosing the invoke the positive power contained in those sacred syllables.

Sound changes consciousness.

How does this technology work? The correct pronunciation of these ancient sounds, causes different parts of the roof of the mouth to resonate with the tongue touching specific meridian points (a form of reflexology) which stimulates different parts of the body, especially the brain.  Factors of the quality of the sound, how you use your tongue, naval point, length of time you chant, all contributes to bringing the practitioner to inner exalted states of awareness and calibration.

There are 84 meridians points located on the hard palate of the roof of the mouth. The movement of each part of the tongue stimulates these meridian points.

The points are like a keyboard input to a computer. The computer is located in the hypothalamus area of the brain. It receives the impulses from the repetition of the patterns of sound in the Shabd (WORD). This is translated into instructions that regulate chemical messengers that go to all vital areas of the brain and body.

The hypothalamus lies just bellow the thalamus in the middle of the brain. It is connected by blood vessels to the pituitary gland, the master gland of the body.

The hypothalamus is known to regulate vital functions like hunger, drinking, body temperature and sleep. It also triggers the regulations of moods, emotional behavior and sexuality. The special patterns of the mantra stimulate the hypothalamus to change the chemistry of the brain.

This ajusts the functions of the endocrine system and the metabolism to create a neutral ballanced mind, and to strengthen the immune function. Many positive states of the mind can be created using the Shabd Guru (Word Teacher.) It can conquer depression, enhance intelligence and intuition, and open the power of compassion.

Chanting mantras is a great way to clear subconcious blockages, and conscious or unconscious habits + behaviors.

Some mantras to try:

OM – try chanting “the universal vibration” 108 times as a meditation. Use a mala, or vizualize writing each number across the screen of your third eye. After chanting 108 times, lie down + take savasana. Become aware of the mantra still vibrating within.

ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO – “I bow to the creative wisdom within” – chant 3 x when you wake up to tune into this wisdom and set the tone of your day.

SAT NAM – “truth is my identity” You can chant this mantra, and also its very powerful if you hear it mentally when you focus on your breath. Inhaling SAT, Exhaling NAM.
Chanting “True Self” is like turning on an inner light, it is as though we have to awaken something inside ourselves. Once we have done that, our inner knowing seems to have a voice that, if we listen to it, guides us in our daily choices

Sit and chant the mantras using guides or online tools. Audibly will stimulate the glands. All mantras connect us with oneness, let them listen to beautiful music that you select thoughtfully. SAT NAM.
