Ayurvedic Wisdom with Melanie (Madhuri) Phillips

We are so honoured to welcome Melanie (Madhuri) Phillips to the Dharma Temple for a seasonal ayurvedic workshop next month.

Melanie Phillips (BFA, E-RYT, CAS) is a certified Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist with advanced training under the direction of Dr. Vasant Lad, one of the leading pioneers of Ayurvedic Medicine in North America. Having immersed herself in ashram living and study at the Bihar School of Yoga of India, and having taught for more than 15 years, Melanie’s embodiment of ayurveda, yoga, and a multitude of energy modalities has earned her excellence in leadership, teaching and mentorship for those seeking a way home to their intuitive and brilliant nature.

Having walked a real and vivid healing path through chronic illness and extraordinary loss, Melanie embraces ayurveda, yoga and intuitive medicine as primary means of how we can all re-emerge from darkness and remember that we are all “the light” of our own lives.

Melanie’s empathetic and sharply intuitive approach helps clients discover the root cause of their dis-ease and empowers them with the wisdom and practices to live vital, light-filled, joy filled lives.

Melanie works out of her praxis in Vancouver, British Columbia. She shares her workshops, retreats and Ayurveda Yoga Teacher Trainings internationally and also offers remote Ayurvedic Spiritual Coaching and online trainings. You can find all her offerings and more on her website MadhuriMethod.com
Melanie's upcoming workshop is called Ayurvedic Yoga + Nutrition for winter + the holiday season and you can expect a relaxing vata (air+ether) reducing asana practice, pranayama and meditation designed to rejuvenate, replenish and restore your entire being. She will delve into which foods to eat that will leave you feeling vibrant throughout the fall/ winter and share the most important tastes to be eating for the season.
We are so looking forward to taking part in this workshop and uncovering a practical application of this yogic science.
